Job summary

Veralto is seeking a commercially driven Inside Sales Representative to support our Water Quality and Hydrology business. You will engage existing and prospective customers via phone, email, video, and campaigns, manage a sales portfolio, identify opportunities, and collaborate with field sales to deliver outstanding customer experience.

You will use the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) to solve problems, improve processes, and help achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, customer service, laboratory sales, industrial sales, or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Experience in water quality, hydrology, wastewater, municipal water, environmental monitoring, laboratory instrumentation, or industrial markets is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales growth and manage revenue targets.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com, is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, bookings, and growth targets through proactive virtual customer engagement and lead management.
• Conduct outbound customer outreach, including telephone prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and follow-up activities.
• Manage the complete sales process for an assigned customer portfolio, from lead qualification and opportunity development through quotation, order placement, and payment collection.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to retain, regain, and expand business.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding products, solutions, quotations, availability, and commercial terms.
• Use value-based selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Work closely with field sales representatives to develop accounts, qualify opportunities, and execute territory growth strategies.
• Own and actively manage the sales funnel and customer activities in Salesforce.com or the relevant CRM platform.
