Job summary

Hach Malaysia, a Veralto subsidiary, is seeking a Service Engineer IST to deliver in-house servicing, calibration, maintenance, and customer support for analytical instruments.

The role requires hands-on servicing, diagnostics, and timely calibration certificates, with 10–20% travel and occasional visits to customer sites. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience are required. Proficient English and a valid driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in service, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Strong hands-on experience in servicing, maintenance, and calibration of technical equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal servicing and calibration tasks.
• Maintain and repair equipment demonstrated for inspection and repairs.
• Handle customer instruments and calibration equipment.
• Follow calibration procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Issue calibration certificates and results promptly.
• Maintain documentation and keep the service area organized.
• Provide customer support for instrument use and maintenance.
• Manage the CRS for service tracking.
• Assist with troubleshooting and warranty claims.
• Prepare customer quotations in a timely manner.
• Occasional visits to customer sites for detailed assessments as required.
