Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, seeks an After Market Sales Manager for Water Quality Platform Asia to lead the Malaysia-based aftermarket sales team and collaborate with ANZ Sales to grow revenue from existing and new customers.

You will drive reagent and service contract sales, manage forecasts and pipeline, and coordinate with field sales to convert new instrument sales into active aftermarket accounts, while monitoring KPIs and churn rates.

Water Quality (WQ) Platform Asia is looking for an After Market Sales Manager who will work with the ANZ Sales Teams in Malaysia to manage a high performing After Market Sales Team to drive breakthrough growth with our existing / potential customers. As a member of the WQ ANZ Sales team, this individual uses the tools and methods of VES to solve problems and implement process improvements to achieve key business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

Team Leadership

• Recruit, coach, and manage a team of Aftermarket Sales Specialist
• Set individual and team quotas for reagent and service revenue; own forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene
• Run a cadence of funnel review, and skill coaching (value selling, negotiation, renewal conversations)
• Build a culture of urgency around installed-base coverage - no account left unmanaged

Revenue Growth

• Drive reagent (consumables) and service contract sales against the existing installed base of water quality analysers/instruments
• Identify and close whitespace: instruments without active service contracts, lapsed reagent accounts, under-penetrated distributors
• Grow service contract attach rate and renewal rate; reduce churn on expiring contracts
• Partner with field sales team to ensure every new instrument sale converts into a tracked aftermarket account from day one
• Use consumption data and service history to identify upsell, cross-sell, and win-back opportunities
• Report on aftermarket KPIs: reagent revenue, service contract revenue, attach rate, renewal rate, churn, and pipeline coverage

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with Service Directors to align service delivery capacity and initiatives
• Work with Applications/Technical teams to resolve customer issues that put reagent or service revenue at risk
• Work with Sales Directors to align on chemistry and lab instrument initiatives
• Feed customer and competitive insight back to Product and Marketing (reagent pricing, competitor consumables, service gaps)
