Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager (Watches) to drive wholesale sales, manage retailer relationships, optimise stock availability, and ensure brand consistency across retail outlets. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, analytical, and able to support business growth and market presence in premium lifestyle segments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within premium retail, luxury goods, watches, jewellery, or lifestyle brands.
• Experience managing wholesale accounts, dealer networks, distributors, or B2B retail partnerships.
• Strong understanding of sales performance tracking, inventory management, replenishment, and retail merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Drive wholesale sales growth and achieve assigned sales targets while building strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Monitor retail account performance, identify sales gaps, and implement action plans to improve results and product sell-through.
• Analyse sales and inventory trends to support effective stock allocation, replenishment, and product availability across retail outlets.
• Conduct regular retail visits to monitor outlet performance, ensure compliance with brand standards, and maintain consistent product presentation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, in-store activations, and visual merchandising initiatives.
• Coordinate product knowledge training and sales development programmes to ensure retail staff are equipped with updated product information and relevant training materials.
