Job summary

SPX Express (Perak) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for Last Mile operations to lead in-hub teams, delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, and ensure accurate inbound flow from linehaul.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily driver schedules, monitoring driver behavior, assisting the fleet team lead with deployment and training, reporting KPI compliance, and upholding safety SOPs in the hub. A Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business or Supply Chain/Engineering is advantageous.
• Basic MS Excel skills required.
• Able to work in a 12-hour rotational shift.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters and drivers based on headcount.
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor driver behavior to maintain high customer service levels.
• Assist fleet team lead with deployment and training of new drivers where applicable.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Uphold safety policies and standard operating procedures in-hub parcel collection.

Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts

Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team

Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner

Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service

Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable

Monitor and report KPI compliance

Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements:

Candidates currently based at Penang / Kedah / Perak are encouraged to apply

Willing to work in a rational shift basis depending on business needs.

Basic Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage

Familiarity with postcodes/routing/mapping would be of good use

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Able to adapt in an agile environment

Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment

Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous

Able to work on a 12-hours rotational shift basis
