Job summary

Shopee is hiring for a logistics supervisor in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur area). You will delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, receive parcels from linehaul, and coordinate daily driver activities to ensure timely deliveries.

You will monitor driver behavior and KPI compliance while supporting deployment and training of new drivers. Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership, strong communication, adaptability, and comfort working in a dynamic, agile environment; Excel skills are a plus and a diploma

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field is advantageous.
• Diploma/Degree holders encouraged to apply; business, logistics or engineering backgrounds favored.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers for timely delivery.

• Assist fleet team lead with deployment and training of new drivers.

• Ensure safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection are followed.

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements

• Candidates currently based at Pahang / Perak are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work in a rational shift basis depending on business needs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes/routing/mapping would be of good use
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to adapt in an agile environment
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
• Able to work on a 12-hours rotational shift basis
