Job summary

Coherent Corp. Malaysia is seeking a skilled Inventory/Materials Supervisor to plan, organize, and control warehouse inventory activities. You will drive process improvements and ensure accurate stock movement using shop floor systems.

You will lead daily store operations, monitor aging and reconcile transactions, and coordinate with production to support lean manufacturing and safe, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in business/economics/IE/production management.
• Good in English communication and interpersonal skills.
• 5+ years in a high-volume, high-mix warehouse environment with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Experience with Oracle, WMS, ERP, SAP or MRP systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Analyze and summarize inventory transactions and ageing for management decisions.
• Supervise daily Main Store operations and report progress or issues to the manager.
• Complete daily material receiving, storage, picking and kitting to support production; flag discrepancies.

Qualification and skills needed:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management and related disciplines.
• Good in English Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a high-volume high mix warehouse environment managing materials with at least 3 years in supervisory position.
• Experience working with Oracle/WMS/ERP/SAP/ MRP tools.
• Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
