Job summary

Altratec Sdn Bhd, a third party dry food products manufacturer, seeks a Materials/Store role to manage receipt, storage and issuance of raw and packaging materials. You will ensure FIFO compliance, proper labeling and coordinate with Supply Chain and QA to handle incoming checks and rejections.

The successful candidate will follow safety, environment, and OHSAS 18001 procedures and support production and logistics operations to maintain supply flow and quality protection.

Qualifications

• Ensure First In First Out (FIFO) for raw and packaging materials issuing.
• All raw and packaging materials must be clearly labelled.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for materials receiving and with QA for incoming checks.
• Adhere to Safety, Environment and Health procedures.

Responsibilities

• Tally materials against Delivery Orders and quantities.
• Store materials properly according to storage conditions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments on material flow and issues.
• Return rejected materials to suppliers per QA/SC guidance.

Job description

To confirm all materials received tally with item descript and quantity written on Delivery Order.

To ensure proper storage of raw and packaging materials in the store according to storage conditions.

To follow First in First out (FIFO) for raw and packing materials issuing.

To make sure all raw and packaging materials are labelled.

To co-ordinate with Supply Chain Department regarding materials receiving.

To co-ordinate with Quality Assurance Department for materials incoming check, approval and incoming rejection/defective.

To co-ordinate with Production Department for raw and packaging materials supplying.

To co-ordinate with Logistic Department regarding materials rejected / returned to suppliers.

To return rejected materials to supplier according to information given by Quality Assurance Department / Supply Chain Department.

To arrrange raw material unloading from container.

To perform other duties stipulated as per FSSC 22000 requirements.

To follow Environment, Safety and Health Procedure.

To follo and comply with all Safe Operation Procedure (OHSAS 18001) including used Personal Protective Equiment (PPE)

To carry out operations and duty with care for the environment. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
