Job summary

SF Global Express (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced logistics consultant to design end-to-end fulfillment strategies and data-driven improvements. You will lead workshops, model labor and automation needs, and articulate value during client engagements.

The role requires 5+ years in 3PL or warehouse management, plus strong presentation and negotiation skills. Chinese language ability is a strong extra asset for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in 3PL, Supply Chain Consulting, or Warehouse Management.
• Chinese language ability is a plus (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end fulfillment strategies including warehouse layout, labor modeling, and automation integration.
• Analyze shipping profiles, SKU velocity, and inventory data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Act as technical SME during sales pitches, translating logistics jargon into value-based business propositions.
• Develop pricing models and P&L projections to ensure profitability and competitive market positioning.
• Partner with Operations and IT to ensure the promised solution is implemented and meets KPIs.

Job description

Data Analytics: Analyze client shipping profiles, SKU velocity, and inventory data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.

Customer Consultation: Act as the technical subject matter expert during sales pitches, translating complex logistics jargon into value-based business propositions.

Cost Modeling: Develop comprehensive pricing models and P&L projections for proposed solutions to ensure profitability and competitive market positioning.

Implementation Oversight: Partner with the Operations and IT teams to ensure the "promised" solution is successfully implemented and meets the client's KPIs.

Job Requirements

Requirement Experience: 5+ years in 3PL, Supply Chain Consulting, or Warehouse Management.

Language Competency: Able to converse and write in Chinese will be added advantage.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations.

Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong presentation skills and negotiation skills to deal with customers and understand customers issue.
