Job summary

UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Warehouse Packer Leader to supervise daily packing operations, ensure accurate and safe packaging, and support on-time shipments to customers.

The role requires at least 2 years in warehouse packing or related production environments, with preference for those who have led small teams and are familiar with packing procedures, labeling and shipment documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse packing or related operations.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team is an advantage.
• Familiar with packing procedures, finished goods identification, labelling and shipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assign daily packing tasks based on shipment priorities.
• Monitor packing progress to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Coordinate manpower to support urgent shipments and daily operational requirements.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, packaging methods and customer requirements.
• Ensure finished goods are correctly packed, labelled and identified before shipment.
• Prevent packing errors, product damage and mixing of finished goods.
• Supervise, guide and train warehouse packers on packing procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor team attendance, productivity, work discipline and performance.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees and report manpower or performance issues to the Warehouse Team Lead.
• Ensure packing records, shipment documents and traceability requirements are properly maintained.
• Monitor packing material usage and stock levels to prevent shortages and minimise wastage.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Logistics and Customer Service to support smooth shipment operations.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Warehouse Packer Leader to supervise daily packing operations, ensure finished goods are packed accurately and safely, and support on-time shipment to customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Packing Operations & Shipment Coordination

Lead and assign daily packing tasks based on shipment priorities.

Monitor packing progress to ensure timely completion and delivery.

Coordinate manpower to support urgent shipments and daily operational requirements.

2. Packing Quality & Accuracy

Verify part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, packaging methods and customer requirements.

Ensure finished goods are correctly packed, labelled and identified before shipment.

Prevent packing errors, product damage and mixing of finished goods.

3. Team Supervision & Training

Supervise, guide and train warehouse packers on packing procedures and work instructions.

Monitor team attendance, productivity, work discipline and performance.

Provide on-the-job training for new employees and report manpower or performance issues to the Warehouse Team Lead.

4. Documentation & Material Control

Ensure packing records, shipment documents and traceability requirements are properly maintained.

Monitor packing material usage and stock levels to prevent shortages and minimise wastage.

Coordinate with QA, Production, Logistics and Customer Service to support smooth shipment operations.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised packing area.

Ensure proper handling of finished goods, packing tools and equipment.

Report packing errors, damaged goods and customer complaints promptly.

Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurring packing issues.

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in warehouse packing, outgoing warehouse or manufacturing operations.

Previous experience leading or supervising a small team is an advantage.

Familiar with packing procedures, finished goods identification, labelling and shipment documentation.

Basic knowledge of inventory control, 5S and workplace safety.

Able to read and understand part numbers, quantities, work instructions and customer packing requirements.

Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet shipment deadlines.

Experience in the precision engineering or CNC manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
