Job summary

UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd in Simpang Ampat, Penang seeks a dedicated CNC Machinist for a full‑time role. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, interpret drawings, adjust offsets, edit CNC programs, and ensure quality buy‑off. Jig/fixture repairs and maintaining safe, clean work practices are required.

Minimum education is SPM/SKM/STPM or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SKM/STPM or equivalent or relevant working experience.
• At least 2 years working experience in the related field.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Mature in personality and positive working attitude.
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Interpret simple technical drawings, perform tool setup and basic dimension inspection.
• Adjust offsets as needed, perform test cut and buy off.
• Understand and edit CNC programming to meet tolerance control requirements.
• Perform setup from tool setup to quality buy off.
• Troubleshoot and fine‑tune independently.
• Repair and modify jig & fixture as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace

About the role

UIS TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and reliable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our assembly and process operations. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines to ensure production meets required quality and dimensional specifications. The role includes interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine offsets, editing CNC programs, performing tool setup and quality buy‑off, as well as carrying out jig and fixture repairs or modifications. Ensure all operations are performed safely while maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Able to interpret simple technical drawings, perform tool setup and perform basic dimension inspection
• Able to adjust offsets as needed, perform test cut & buy off
• Able to understand & edit CNC programming to meet tolerance control requirement
• Able to perform setup from tool setup to quality buy off
• Able to perform troubleshooting and fine‑tuning independently
• Able to perform repairing and modification on jig & fixture
• To maintain cleanliness and safety operation of work place
