Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operator to join the team at Rongta Technology. This is a full-time position based in Kapar, Selangor. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining organised storage systems that support our logistics and distribution operations. This position is essential to our supply chain success and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying quantities and checking for damage


• Organising and storing inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems and equipment


• Picking and packing items according to order specifications and customer requirements


• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, ensuring proper documentation and labelling of all items


• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and conveyor systems in compliance with safety procedures


• Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling stock discrepancies
  
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised to maintain a safe working environment


• Loading and preparing shipments for delivery to customers


• Following all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times


• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment


• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling tools


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process orders and maintain inventory records


• Physical capability to perform lifting, bending and other manual duties regularly throughout the shift


• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks


• Reliability and strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting productivity targets


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy


• Valid relevant certifications such as forklift operation or material handling qualifications (preferred)


• Ability to work flexibly, including potential shift work and overtime when required
