Job summary

Fairmont Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support the daily running of the finished goods warehouse. You will handle orders, manage incoming and outgoing goods, ensure inventory accuracy, and prepare orders with the warehouse team.

You will also verify deliveries, manage stock counts, and assist with safety and documentation in a fast-paced environment. Experience in warehouse operations and basic ERP and Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, store or distribution operations.
• Familiar with inventory or ERP systems; basic MS Excel & Word.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation and stock cards.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations including order handling, incoming/outgoing goods, and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and pack orders with warehouse team, including blending/reworking goods.
• Supervise workers and coordinate daily warehouse activities, adjust overtime as needed.
• Check finished goods on receipt and verify quantities against transfer orders.
• Maintain inventory files and assist weekly stock reports.

Job description

Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operative supports the daily running of the finished good at warehouse, covering order handling, incoming and outgoing goods, inventory accuracy, and order preparation together with the warehouse team:

Key Responsibilities

• Handle local orders, reserve finished goods when necessary, prepare pre-delivery inspection form, and perform verification of goods before delivery.
• Prepare orders together with the warehouse workers, including blending and reworking of goods.
• Manage workers’ overtime based on the quantity of orders to be prepared.

Goods Receiving & Documentation

• Check incoming finished goods from the factory and verify that physical quantities tally with the information in the transfer order.
• Print pallet labels for incoming goods and prepare labels for goods received in EPR after physically confirming item and quantity.
• Key in trading items and raw material plywood into the system once they arrive at warehouse.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Update the Warehouse inventory file daily
• Act as one of the key persons for stock counts and cycle counts, including re-checking where quantities do not tally.
• Submit weekly floor goods and racking space update reports to the reporting superior.

Warehouse & Safety

• Manage warehouse space allocation, particularly when stock levels are high.
• Act as the safety member representative for warehouse, attend safety meetings, and take charge of safety

Requirements:

• SPM or equivalent; a Certificate/Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in warehouse, store, or distribution centre operations.
• Familiar with inventory or ERP systems, with basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation and stock card records.
• Valid forklift licence is an added advantage.
• Meticulous and well‑organised, with good stock and numerical accuracy.
• Able to lead and supervise general workers and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
