Job summary

Sansico Industries Sdn Bhd is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager to plan, organize, and optimize warehouse operations. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure timely order fulfillment across our HDPE pipes and fittings supply chain.

You will lead space optimization, implement WMS processes, and coordinate with procurement and production teams. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics
• Experience in supervisory or assistant management role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution practices
• Proficiency with WMS and MS Office
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize warehouse capacity, space utilization, zoning, racking, binning, and palletization
• Oversee stock availability, accurate WMS recording, and monthly/year-end stock counts
• Monitor raw materials and shortages and address gaps promptly
• Schedule production timelines and material allocation based on demand and capacity
• Manage receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch processes
• Ensure accurate, on-time order delivery and follow up on delays
• Supervise warehouse staff, daily work allocations, attendance, and overtime
• Track productivity and address performance gaps
• Investigate operational issues and enforce safety standards
• Utilize WMS analytics to drive continuous improvements
