Job summary

PRASARANA MALAYSIA BERHAD in Subang Jaya is seeking a Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the Head of the Warehouse Management Unit. You will help manage warehousing activities, ensure safe and cost-efficient practices, and coach staff to meet quality standards.

The role involves coordinating inventory, supervising recruitment and training, maintaining stock accuracy, and liaising with end users to monitor service levels. SAP MM, CMMS (Trapeze), and Excel proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

Strong communication, people management and teamwork skills.
Ability to motivate others, delegate work and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the operation of the warehouse/store, including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of materials.
Support the Head of Unit in ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and help maintain security of the building and stock.
Assist in planning the arrangement of inventory within the warehouse and organizing special inventory requirements.
Help ensure productivity targets are met and support computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.
Assist in managing teams of workers including recruitment, training, promotion, disciplinary actions, and remuneration.
Motivate and coach staff to attain required job skills; monitor service quality for end users.
