Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics professional in Malaysia to oversee receiving, storage and inventory control per SOP.

The role requires FEFO stock rotation, management of aging stock with planners and collaboration with other departments, plus SAP-based transactions and GMP/5S compliance. Suitable candidates have 5+ years of warehouse experience and fluency in Malay and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Warehouse and Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in warehouse and logistics.
• Excellent verbal and written Malay and English proficiency.
• Knowledge in FSSC/ISO, GMP and 5S is essential.
• SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving and storage of material and supplies according to SOP.
• Ensure stock rotation follows FEFO and manage aging stock with Planner and other related department.
• Ensure timely system (SAP) transactions to maintain accurate inventory and stock levels.
• Monitor warehouse space capacity and provide timely updates to interested parties.
• Monitor warehouse facilities such as overall infrastructure, pallets, and forklifts.
• Ensure proper warehouse housekeeping and records by practicing GMP and 5S lean methodology.
• Update standard operating procedures (SOP) and other relevant documented information to best reflect current practices and upon implementation of new practices.
• Evaluate and train all workers assigned to department to ensure all KPI, tasks and duties are performed efficiently and correctly.
• Maintain and control overtime and cost to ensure continual operational efficiency.
