Job summary

Wentel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and supervise staff.

The role focuses on efficient goods receipt, storage, and timely delivery while enforcing safety regulations and company policies. Qualified candidates will typically hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Logistics or related field, with at least 5 years of warehouse experience and 3 years in management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Logistics or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of warehouse associate experience is required and 3 years of management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Good time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Possess forklift operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, and managing inventory levels.
• Ensure the efficient delivery of goods, supervise staff, and secure the warehouse.
• Ensure efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity.
• Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Checking Delivery Orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments.
• Developing and improving warehouse processes and procedures.
• Escalating issues to the manager and recommending potential solutions.
• Ensuring the team follows company policies and procedures.
• Making sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
• Trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of assigned warehouse employees.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors when it is deemed necessary from time to time.
