Job summary

Zara Building Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse activities, inventory management, logistics coordination and order fulfilment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, stock is accurately managed, orders are fulfilled on time, and the team maintains high standards of productivity, safety, and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
• Experience in hardware/building materials is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Proficient in inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Proficient with Excel, ERP, and WMS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Hands-on with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and deliveries.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory checks, and audits.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and housekeeping of warehouse goods.
• Maintain and improve warehouse procedures, safety practices, and operational standards.
• Lead, supervise, and train warehouse staff.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance and productivity.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, transportation, courier arrangements, and shipments.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, courier companies, and logistics partners.

About you

• Experience in hardware, building materials, sanitary, plumbing, furniture fittings, or distribution is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse procedures.
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP, or Warehouse Management Systems.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational pressure.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
