Responsibilities

Job description

Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials (steel, aluminum, alloys, etc.), cutting tools, spare parts, and finished machined components.

Coordinate with production, planning, and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock records using ERP / inventory systems.

Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories.

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requests when needed.

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

Production Support

Issue materials, tools, and consumables to production based on work orders.

Track material movement between warehouse, production floor, and subcontractors.

Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and traceability requirements are followed.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.

Ensure safe material handling, stacking, and forklift operations.

Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate documentation: GRN, DO, stock cards, inventory reports, and audit records.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports.
