Job summary

Bake With Yen in Shah Alam is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily storage, inventory control, and safe dispatch of perishable goods. You will oversee inbound stock, enforce hygiene and temperature controls, and use ERP/WMS tools to prevent spoilage and delays.

Based in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, the ideal candidate has 3–5 years in warehouse leadership, experience in food production or FMCG, and strong problem-solving and team-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of warehouse leadership experience, ideally within food production, FMCG, or retail distribution.
• Proficiency in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP or WMS).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily storage, inventory rotation, and safe dispatch of perishable goods.
• Oversee inbound raw materials or retail stock, enforce hygiene and temperature controls, manage staff schedules, and utilize computerized systems to prevent spoilage and delays.
• Enforce FIFO and FEFO stock rotation to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Monitor storage zones to keep food products safe and compliant.
• Direct receiving, packing, and timely dispatch to branches or manufacturing lines.
• Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse crew and forklift drivers.
• Maintain facility hygiene standards and ensure health and safety rules are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Control: Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) stock rotation to minimize waste and spoilage.

Temperature Management: Monitor dry, chilled, and frozen storage zones to keep food products safe.

Inventory Control: Conduct daily audits and maintain accurate stock logs using WMS or ERP tools.

Operations & Fulfillment: Direct receiving, packing, and timely dispatch to retail branches or manufacturing lines.

Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse crew members and forklift drivers.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain facility hygiene standards and ensure local health and safety rules are followed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of warehouse leadership experience, ideally within food production, FMCG, or retail distribution.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP or WMS).

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cold chain logistics, hazard controls, and regulatory hygiene compliance.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, team management, and time-management abilities.

Able to handle pressure and take up as challenge

Must be hands on experience
