Job summary

JD Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Malaysia to oversee daily inbound and outbound activities, including sorting, packing, and shipping, while implementing efficient standards to meet targets.

The role leads a growing team, optimizes inventory and processes, and uses data analytics to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, sorting, packing and shipping.
• Develop and implement warehouse standards to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure targets are achieved.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; optimize manpower and foster a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory data accuracy, ensure sufficient materials, optimize layout.
• Monitor quality, resolve issues, ensure compliance and safety.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive optimization initiatives.
• Analyze warehouse data and report on inventory, shipments, efficiency.

About The Team

Overall Warehouse Operations Management

Responsible for the daily operations and management of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth execution of inbound, outbound, sorting, packing, and shipping processes. Develop and implement warehouse operating standards and procedures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy, ensuring operational targets are achieved.

Personnel Management and Team Building

Responsible for the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the warehouse team. Optimize manpower allocation and enhance the team's professional capabilities. Motivate and lead the team to complete operational tasks, foster a positive working environment, and ensure warehouse personnel possess good operational skills and safety awareness.

Inventory and Material Management

Responsible for warehouse inventory control, ensuring inventory data accuracy, sufficient materials, and proper storage arrangements. Regularly monitor and analyze inventory data, optimize warehouse layout and inventory management strategies, reduce storage costs, and minimize losses.

Quality Control and Risk Management

Monitor quality throughout warehouse operations, identify and resolve quality issues, and ensure all processes comply with quality standards. Assess potential warehouse risks, develop and implement quality and risk control measures, and ensure warehouse operations are free from abnormalities and safety hazards.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in daily operations, propose optimization recommendations, and drive improvement initiatives. Enhance overall warehouse operational efficiency through process optimization and resource integration, promote a positive cycle of warehouse operations, and achieve continuous improvement.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Responsible for organizing and analyzing warehouse operational data, and regularly providing reports on inventory, shipments, efficiency, and other operational metrics to support management decision-making. Monitor warehouse operational performance through data analysis and promptly adjust strategies to achieve operational targets.
