Job summary

SINOVEST INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD is seeking a responsible Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse, inventory and logistics activities. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflows and ensuring efficient operations aligned with customer orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations and demonstrates leadership, organization and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management or a related field.
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating daily operational activities is an advantage.
• Experience in wholesale, distribution, hardware or electrical supplies will be an added advantage.
• Good leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Able to coordinate tasks, manage priorities and resolve routine operational issues.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently while maintaining good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse, inventory, logistics and delivery operations.
• Assign tasks to operational staff and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee goods receiving, stock arrangement, picking, packing and dispatch processes.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in investigating stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure goods are prepared and dispatched according to customer orders.
• Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Finance and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure employees follow company procedures, operational workflows and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor staff productivity, attendance and daily task completion.
• Identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency.
• Assist in developing and improving operational procedures and workflows.
• Ensure warehouse facilities, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Prepare operational reports and update management on daily activities, issues and performance.
• Support management in implementing operational improvements and achieving company targets.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by management.
