Job summary

MVC Resources in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Customs and Logistics Manager to lead all import/export operations for raw materials, finished goods and non-commercial freight. You will oversee day-to-day customs declarations, ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting, and drive continuous process improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, at least 5 years of customs/logistics management, strong leadership and cross-functional communication, and SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in customs and logistics management.
• Strong leadership, communication, accountability and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Import & Export processes for Raw Material, Finished Goods & Non-Commercial Freight.
• Ensure and manage efficient handling of local customs declarations, liquidation and related topics.
• Make customs finalisation yearly report.
• Be responsible for all compliant, accurate and timely internal and external reporting and reconciliation with customs authorities.
• Coordinate with Planning department / Customers / Vendors / Suppliers to prepare shipping documents and ensure timely delivery without issues or extra costs.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Local / Regional / Global Regulations, Standards and Rules set by Internal and External bodies.
• Manage all customs staff and be accountable for LMW compliances and license renewals.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree of logistic, Supply chain, and related field.
