Job summary

广州小鹏汽车科技有限公司 is seeking a Warehouse Materials Specialist to manage abnormal materials, replacement parts, spare parts, and inventory in an automotive manufacturing warehouse. You will classify materials, maintain records, and coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure timely material supply.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or above, automotive warehouse experience, knowledge of receiving, storage, issuance, and ERP/WMS systems, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or above.
• Warehouse experience in the automotive parts or automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Familiar with automotive parts receiving, storage, issuance, inventory counting, and abnormal material handling.
• Experience in shortages, defective parts, scrap, or replacement parts management is preferred.
• Proficient in office software; ERP/WMS experience is preferred.
• Good working English for daily communication; Mandarin is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and execution-focused with cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage shortages, production/material scrap and defective automotive parts, including counting, labeling, segregation, record keeping, and follow-up on replenishment, rework, return, replacement, and scrap disposal.
• Handle replacement parts for production and rework, plus equipment spare parts, including receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control.
• Maintain records for shortages, defective parts, scrap, replacement parts, and spare parts. Update system data, conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper zoning, labeling, storage, and protection of special materials to prevent mix-ups and loss.
• Coordinate with local production, quality teams and China logistics to report shortages and drive issue closure.

Job description

This role involves managing abnormal materials, replacement parts, spare parts, and inventory within an automotive manufacturing warehouse environment. You will be responsible for material classification, record-keeping, inventory reconciliation, warehouse organization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate and timely material supply.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shortages, production/material scrap and defective automotive parts, including counting, classification, labeling, segregation, record keeping, and follow-up on replenishment, rework, return, replacement, and scrap disposal
• Manage replacement parts for production and rework, as well as equipment spare parts, including receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control, ensuring accurate and timely material supply
• Maintain records for shortages, defective parts, scrap, replacement parts, and spare parts. Update system data in a timely manner, conduct regular stock counts and book-to-physical reconciliation, and follow up on inventory discrepancies
• Ensure proper zoning, labeling, storage, and protection of special materials, including moisture-proof, dust-proof, rust-proof, and warehouse safety requirements, to prevent material mixing, misplacement, or loss
• Coordinate with local production and quality teams and the China logistics operations team, promptly communicate material shortages, inventory status, and abnormalities, and drive issue closure

About you

• Familiar with automotive parts receiving, storage, issuance, inventory counting, and abnormal material handling
• Experience in shortages, defective parts, scrap, or replacement parts management is preferred
• Proficient in office software and capable of preparing material records and inventory reports; ERP/WMS experience is preferred
• Good working English for daily communication and handling English documents; Mandarin is a plus
