Job summary

ASM MOBILE CRANE & TRANSPORT SERVICE SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Spare Parts Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock records, receive and verify deliveries, and issue parts to maintenance teams. You will monitor stock levels, prepare replenishment requests, and liaise with suppliers on pricing and delivery.

You will keep documents organized using Excel or designated systems and perform regular stock inspections and reconciliations.

This role involves managing, maintaining and updating spare parts inventory records, including received stock, issued items, returns and current balances. You will receive, inspect and verify spare parts deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices, and issue spare parts to mechanics, technicians and maintenance staff based on approved requests. You will monitor stock levels, prepare stock replenishment requests to prevent shortages of critical spare parts, and assist in preparing purchase requests and liaising with suppliers regarding spare parts availability, pricing and delivery schedules. You will organize and ensure the spare parts store remains clean, orderly, labelled and easily accessible, conduct regular stock inspections, and assist with physical stock counts and reconciliation with inventory records. You will maintain all related documents in an organized manner, including stock records, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices and related documents, and update inventory information using Microsoft Excel, inventory software or systems designated by the company. You will monitor underutilized, damaged or obsolete spare parts and report any stock discrepancies to your supervisor, assist in preparing monthly stock reports and inventory summaries, and perform other spare parts and inventory management tasks as directed by your supervisor.

• Willing to learn about spare parts identification, spare parts codes and inventory management procedures
• Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Inventory Management, Automotive or related field is an advantage
• Experience in spare parts management, store operations, inventory control or automotive maintenance is an advantage
