Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a warehouse/store associate to manage inbound and outbound materials, ensure accurate stock records and support material flow across departments.

The role involves receiving, issuing, stock counts, labeling, safe storage, and coordination with Production, Purchasing and Planning. Requires basic Excel skills, teamwork and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / equivalent; relevant warehouse or storekeeping experience is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience handling manufacturing materials, components and production-related items is an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, are preferred.
• Good communication, organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on warehouse/store duties.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and arrange incoming raw materials, components, finished goods and other items according to company procedures.
• Issue materials and components to production based on approved requisitions and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock identification, labelling and storage.
• Perform regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, damaged items or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and preservation of materials to prevent damage, loss or deterioration.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documents, including receiving, issuing, stock transfer and delivery records.
• Keep the store and warehouse clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements and inventory control practices.
• Support other warehouse and store-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
