Job summary

VS Outlet is seeking an organized Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, storage, and shipping duties in our Penang facility. You will verify incoming goods against purchase orders, label and store products, and conduct routine stock checks to maintain accuracy.

You will also move items with standard warehouse equipment, perform quality inspections, update records, and assist with event setups when needed. A safety-first approach and teamwork are essential for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse receiving and put-away processes.
• Ability to monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
• Familiarity with loading/unloading and basic warehouse equipment.
• Good eye for product quality and damage reporting.
• Accurate data entry into inventory systems or spreadsheets.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with supervisors.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Willingness to assist with event setups when required.

• Receiving & Handling Deliveries:
• Receive goods from suppliers and confirm the items match the purchase orders.
• Sort, label, and place incoming products according to storage guidelines.
• Stock Management:

• Retrieve items from storage based on customer or store orders.
• Pack products safely and get them ready for shipment.
• Loading & Unloading Duties:

• Offload incoming shipments and store them properly in assigned areas.
• Product Quality Checks:
• Examine goods for any damages or defects during receiving and before dispatching.
• Report any quality concerns to supervisors.
• Warehouse Maintenance:
• Arrange storage areas neatly and ensure items are stored correctly.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and free of safety hazards.
• Conduct simple routine checks on warehouse tools and machines.
• Inform the maintenance team of any malfunction or needed repairs.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
• Record Keeping:
• Update all stock movement records, including received and shipped items.
• Enter information accurately into the warehouse system or spreadsheets.
• Team Coordination:
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep operations running smoothly.
• Share updates, issues, or concerns clearly and promptly.
• Event & Store Setup/Dismantling:
• Support setting up and tearing down event areas or shop displays when needed.
