Private Advertiser in Shah Alam, Selangor is seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Storekeeper for full-time on-site work. You will manage stock, maintain inventory records, and support loading/unloading activities within a Safety-focused warehouse environment.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant / Storekeeper to join us in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations, ensuring that stock is properly organised, tracked, and managed. Working on-site in our Shah Alam facility, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to operational excellence in the warehousing and transportation sector.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting and documenting incoming goods and inventory shipments
• Accurately recording stock information into and maintaining up-to-date inventory records
• Organising and storing products in designated locations using proper shelving and storage methods
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trolleys where applicable
• Labelling and categorising items for easy identification and retrieval
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Reporting discrepancies, damaged stock and potential issues to management
• Following all company policies and safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment

What we're looking for

• Completed secondary education or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a warehouse, storeroom or distribution environment (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive work ethic

Working Schedule

• Monday to Friday 8.30AM - 5.30PM and Saturday 8.30AM - 1.30PM
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed during peak periods
