Job summary

SIN-KUNG LOGISTICS BERHAD is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Shah Alam to support daily warehouse operations, document processing, and stock control.

Applicants need basic Excel skills and an SPM or equivalent; a Diploma is an advantage. You will coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure accuracy.

This role involves filing, reporting, stock checks, and backing up picker/packer as required.

Qualifications

• Basic Excel skills required.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or admin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process warehouse-related documents (Delivery Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders etc.).
• Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Maintain filing of warehouse documents (physical and digital).
• Update inventory records in Excel, ERP and/or WMS.
• Verify stock movements against documentation for accuracy.
• Assist with stocktaking and audits.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, drivers, suppliers, customers.
• Process GRN, returns, and stock discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Provide backup support to Picker & Packer.

Job description

1. Prepare and process warehouse-related documents, including Delivery Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, and other relevant documentation.

2. Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing goods.

3. Maintain proper and systematic filing of physical and digital warehouse documents.

4. Update and maintain inventory records in the relevant systems, including Excel, ERP, and/or WMS.

5. Verify stock movements against the relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

6. Assist with stocktaking exercises and inventory audits as required.

7. Coordinate and communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, drivers, suppliers, customers, and other relevant parties.

8. Process and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), returns, and stock discrepancies.

9. Prepare and generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports as required.

10. Ensure all warehouse documentation and processes comply with Company policies, procedures, and SOPs.

11. Provide backup support to the Picker & Packer when required to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

1. Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; a Diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

2. Basic computer skills are required, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

3. Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or administrative work is preferred.

Other Responsibilities

1. Maintain strict confidentiality of all Company and client information.

2. Refer to the department organisation chart for the applicable reporting structure.

3. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeframe in accordance with the Company's SOPs.

4. Perform any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as may be assigned by Management from time to time, including duties not specifically stated in this Job Description, where such duties are reasonably required to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Company and meet evolving business needs.
