Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a warehouse associate to assist in day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials for production. The role requires monitoring inbound and outbound deliveries, verifying stock, and ensuring accuracy of quantities and quality.

You will coordinate with production teams to supply materials to machines, operate forklifts and other equipment safely, maintain inventory records, and keep areas 5S compliant.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or certificate in any discipline or its equivalent.
• Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel & Word).
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes and forklifts is an advantage.

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and production.

Monitor incoming and outgoing deliveries, verify truck and stock conditions, and ensure accuracy in quantity and quality.

Coordinate with production teams to supply materials to the machines and transfer finished goods to designated storage areas.

Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts, loaders, and backhoes safely and efficiently.

Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock movements, and complete daily logbooks and documentation.

Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or irregularities to the immediate superior promptly.

Ensure warehouse and storage areas are well-organized, labelled, and maintained in accordance with 5S practices.

Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace.

Support in the operation of weighbridge and laboratory/sample testing equipment as required.

Contribute to factory-wide safety efforts, including traffic flow, environmental upkeep, and general manpower coordination.

Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of assigned tools and equipment.

Undertake any other tasks assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum SPM or Certificate in any discipline or its equivalent.

Preferred Skill(s): Proficient in Microsoft applications (excel & words)

Previous experience operating mobile equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and forklifts will be an added advantage.

Possess own transport.

Flexible & able to work long hours / overtime.
