Job summary

Global Pets Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to ensure smooth shipment processing, loading and unloading orders, and accurate order preparation for delivery. You will handle picking, packing, stock checks, and assist drivers for deliveries between branches, while maintaining safe, clean work areas and following company procedures.

Candidates with SPM, 1 year of related experience, and basic math skills are encouraged; reading Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Malaysia Certificate of Education (SPM).
• 1 year of related experience preferred; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Ability to read and understand Chinese is an advantage.
• Proficient knowledge of company products (storage location).
• Knowledge of company employee handbook.
• Knowledge of company Vision, Mission & Values.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and documents.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Good basic mathematical skills.
• High level of alertness to prevent accident.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; packing and placing orders in delivery area.
• Receive Goods Delivery Note from vendors.
• Carry out tasks such as picking items, scanning items, price tagging and stocking shelves.
• Assist warehouse drivers with deliveries to and from the branches.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Be detail-oriented and responsible for thoroughly checking received items against the Delivery Order to ensure accuracy, with the ability to work independently.

This position is also known as Warehouse Division Lead in our internal.

Key responsibilities

Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; packing and placing orders in delivery area
