Job summary

Mega Flour Sdn Bhd, Kulai, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned Warehouse and Logistics Manager to supervise daily operations and optimize inventory using FIFO, ensuring timely delivery and high service levels.

You will drive KPI performance, uphold safety and environmental standards, and lead a hands-on team to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness across warehousing and logistics activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in business management, logistics or transportation related field.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Mandarin/English is advantageous as per employer needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Manage FIFO inventory and KPI/JIT targets.
• Coordinate with external carriers, suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Lead and develop Warehouse & Logistics team to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and report on stock levels, expiry, and warehouse performance.

Job description

To supervise and manage daily operations of the warehouse and logistics, including receiving,

storing, space management, inventory control, coordinating with external carriers and managing

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and

services.

Manage inventory using FIFO system for stock movement and ensure achievement of

warehouse and Logistics KPI and JIT.

Monitor stock expiry and collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure sufficient stock and

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, within the warehouse

and logistics.

To ensure housekeeping, documentations for the daily operations of warehouse and logistics

activities.

To ensure accuracy of inventory, monitoring and improving the efficiency of warehouse and

logistics management.

To ensure warehouse and logistics facilities, equipment and tools are properly maintenance and

complies with safety and environment guidelines.

Handle emergencies according to procedure and report to the respective authority or

Department immediately when necessary.

Schedule and oversee Warehouse and Logistics team, Manage the flow and quality of work to

maximize efficiency, minimize overtime and communicating with drivers and logistics to ensure

efficient delivery of products.

To save and reduce cost by minimizing damage expiring goods and optimize transportation

routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for

improvement.

Requirements

Preferably holders of Degree / Diploma in Business Management, Logistics / Transportation

or equivalent.

At least 5 years hands-on working experience in warehouse / supply chain activities.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, computer literate. "We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients."

Required to have a strong organization leadership skill, excellent interpersonal skill, strong

team player spirit with high degree of commitment, integrity and maintain professionalism.
