Job summary

Pure Eats Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking an experienced Waiting Staff to join our hospitality team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure a smooth dining experience across shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Ideal candidates have proven waiting staff experience in a professional restaurant, strong interpersonal skills, and fluency in English and Malay (Mandarin a plus). We offer competitive pay, training, and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a waiting staff member in a professional restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse customers and other staff members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work shifts including on weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English and Malay is required. Basic knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest service and table management, including greeting guests and assisting with seating, taking orders accurately, clarifying menu items or special requests, serving food and beverages, clearing tables as needed, resetting tables for the next guests.
• Assist restaurant manager and team lead in daily operations, including stocking cutleries and tools, supporting other team members during peak hours.
• Follow instructions promptly and communicate clearly with the kitchen crew and service crew.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Maintain a clean work station and follow all hygiene and sanitation standards for menus, tables, service equipment, and practice safe food handling at all times.
• Learn menu items, ingredients, and beverage offerings to assist guests confidently.
• Handle all service equipment (trays, glassware, etc.) safely and responsibly.
• Assist with other restaurant operations and special events as required.
