Job summary

Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Wafer Test Engineer to develop processes and troubleshoot wafer test machines.

You will support Wafer Test Engineering activities, including testing, cost reduction, productivity, and yield improvements. The role requires a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in wafer processes, and strong knowledge of oscilloscopes and electrical drawings for tester troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in wafer processes is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Oscilloscope is beneficial.
• Strong semiconductor device knowledge and ability to explain wafer fabrication processes.
• Excellent electrical characteristic analysis and ability to interpret electrical drawings for tester troubleshooting.
• Self-motivated, team player with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and set up recipes for products and troubleshoot wafer test machines.
• Support Wafer Test Engineering activities, including static and dynamic testing, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and yield improvement.
• Operate Oscilloscope and other related test equipment.
• Diagnose machine issues during testing, identify root cause and perform basic maintenance to restore operation.
• Manage daily operation activities and lot flow to achieve production targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and production targets established by Management.
