Job summary

CGC Malaysia is seeking an Head of Organisational Effectiveness & Rewards to shape the people agenda and transform the organisation. You will drive talent strategies, workforce planning and compensation policy to align with strategic priorities.

The role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of HR fundamentals, regulatory compliance, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes. Collaborative culture and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in HR, focusing on organisational effectiveness, rewards and compensation.
• Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
• Familiarity with performance management, talent development, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management, with regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Formulate a comprehensive talent acquisition, organisational effectiveness and rewards strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation to strengthen competitiveness and growth.
• Establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders to define and implement strategies.
• Develop a competent, high-performance workforce including future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and corporate governance standards.
• Oversee recruitment strategy to attract top talent and ensure diversity.
• Guide the organisation on compensation framework, salary structures and policy design.
• Lead HC strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support decision making.
