Job summary

CGC Malaysia is seeking a proactive executive to co-implement business plans, manage budgets, and drive performance across the Business Division. You will chair the BDV Committee meetings, align initiatives with stakeholders, and oversee KPI setting and reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to optimize income, assets, and ESG initiatives within a dynamic SME banking environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in Corporate / SME business management with strategy development and execution.
• Strong understanding of SME market dynamics, trends, and regulatory requirements in SME banking.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies and objectives including budgeting and annual targets.
• Serve as Secretariat for the BDV Committee Meeting and coordinate planning across divisions.
• Execute the division’s business plan and collaborate with Heads of Department and Section.
• Coordinate mid-year performance reviews and annual business plans for all BDV departments.
• Lead cross-department projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Develop corporate scorecards with stakeholders and drive initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Manage projects, financing systems, and sponsorships end-to-end.
• Work with HODs/HOSs/BMs to define divisional KPIs and department scorecards.
• Identify performance gaps and opportunities for outreach and income growth.
• Streamline reporting with Power BI and refine data gathering and presentation processes.
• Assist ESG initiatives, SME outreach, budgeting, and resource planning.
