Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking an Executive (VM & OS) to support day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtual machines and operating systems across enterprise infrastructure, including KPJ hospital systems and the Managed Private Cloud.

The role focuses on operational execution, system stability, and compliance with infrastructure standards, working with senior engineers to resolve incidents and implement platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in supporting, managing, and maintaining virtual machines and operating systems in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems to track performance and health of VM/OS platforms.
• Basic understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer virtual machines on platforms like VMware and Hyper‑V, including provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Support Windows and Linux OS configurations, patching, and incident resolution.
• Monitor system health and respond to incidents with escalation when needed.
• Assist in backup operations, DR drills, and restoration testing.
• Support change management, documentation, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with teams to implement platform upgrades and improvements.
