Job summary

Emage Innovation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Vision Systems & Manufacturing Build Engineer to lead vision kit assembly, system testing, and hardware-software integration for automated machine vision systems in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. You will manage end-to-end manufacturing builds, develop prototypes, validate software and hardware releases, and maintain strict quality standards.

Qualifications

SKM, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
2+ years of hands-on manufacturing build, assembly, or system testing experience.
Excellent communication with proficiency in English and Mandarin for supplier/client coordination.
Strong quality mindset with 5S practices.

Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end manufacturing builds for vision kits, including software loading and pre-shipment testing.
Build functional engineering prototypes and demo units for client demonstrations and internal testing.
Test, validate, and troubleshoot new software releases and hardware components prior to deployment.
Manage ECN documentation and keep complex BOMs updated.
Maintain high 5S standards to keep the manufacturing area organized and safe.
Provide field support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality hardware-software solutions.
