Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned professional with strong vision system and AOI experience to setup, qualify, troubleshoot and maintain vision equipment on site in Penang. You will optimize inspection recipes, camera/lighting/ optics, and drive defect detection improvements for higher FPY.

The role requires hands-on experience with vision inspection systems, knowledge of MSA/Gage R&R and DOE, and collaboration with Process, Quality, NPI and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of semiconductor equipment, AOI or machine vision experience.
• Hands-on experience with vision inspection systems.
• Knowledge of camera, lighting, optics and image processing.
• Experience in vision recipe setup and optimization.
• Knowledge of MSA / Gage R&R and DOE.
• ICOS experience is preferred, but experience with other AOI/vision systems is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for vision equipment setup, qualification, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Setup and optimize vision inspection recipes for semiconductor products.
• Optimize camera, lighting, optics and image parameters to improve inspection performance.
• Reduce false reject / overkill and improve defect detection capability.
• Support NPI, new product setup and equipment qualification.
• Perform MSA / Gage R&R and validate inspection capability.
• Analyse equipment and vision-related defects to improve FPY and yield.
• Drive equipment reliability improvement, including MTBF, MTTR and downtime reduction.
• Work with suppliers on equipment/vision issues and technical improvements.
• Support cross-functional teams including Process, Quality, NPI and Production.
