We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President – Implementation Manager, Operations (Internal Job Title: Client Onboarding Lead Analyst – C13) based in KL, Malaysia.
The Client Onboarding Lead Analyst is a seasoned professional who brings in-depth disciplinary knowledge and contributes to new techniques and process improvements. They apply subject matter expertise, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and influence decisions through advice and facilitation. They lead coaching and training of new recruits, manage project delivery, and ensure the performance of the broader team.
Responsibilities
- Customer interaction, documentation issuance, review and system set‑ups.
- Demonstrates high level of diligence, motivation and organizational skills.
- Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions, delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer issues.
- Manages day‑to‑day account opening and maintenance processing, including in‑process, pending and service‑related activities, ensuring requirements are clearly defined for all scenarios.
- Handles various project‑management activities in the account services space and manages cross‑functional relationships.
- Determines new work procedures, analyzes complex and variable issues with significant departmental impact.
- Encourages cross‑functional training for staff to enrich skill base.
- Optimises manpower to achieve higher productivity.
- Understands client requirements and implements them correctly, ensuring support for new initiatives.
- Monitors customer satisfaction and service level, drives process changes, and provides innovative client solutions.
- Establishes risk‑management practices and maintains a culture of risk and controls.
- Identifies means to reduce transaction defects, develops performance metrics to track defects and productivity.
- Appropriately assesses risk in business decisions, demonstrates consideration for the firm’s reputation, drives compliance with laws and regulations, applies ethical judgement, and escalates control issues transparently.
Qualifications
- 6‑10 years of experience in documentation review, account maintenance and related cash products.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to communicate with internal and external partners.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated project‑management skill including financial cost management.
- Advanced execution skills in a prioritization mode; exposure to customer service, system handling, testing and roll‑outs.
- Ability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters; ability to interact confidently with senior management and regulators; coach and develop people; partner with business and support functions at senior levels to set strategy and priorities; work under pressure and convert opportunity from risk.
- Willingness to work staggered hours, shifts, over weekends and public holidays.
- Proficient knowledge of Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Education
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
