Job summary

CQ PETS LOVE SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Negeri Sembilan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and support veterinarians in daily clinical operations and surgeries.

We welcome fresh graduates as training will be provided. The role includes client support, medication handling, lab processing, and ensuring clean, sterilized facilities to deliver top-notch veterinary services.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma/Degree in Science or in any field.
• Veterinary nursing background or training from Institut Veterinar Malaysia (IVM) is highly preferred, but not required.
• Good attitude, good in communication skills, efficiency and time management.
• Flexible, cooperative, and willing to support team members when needed.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with daily clinical operations and patient care.
• Support veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare and dispense medications as directed.
• Collect, prepare, and process laboratory samples.
• Perform in-house diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and care for warded patients.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sterilization of clinic equipment and facilities.
• Provide compassionate support to clients and their pets.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the efficient operation of the clinic.
