Vendor Ethics & Compliance Specialist – Vietnamese Speaking
This role will support the Regional Ethics & Compliance Senior Manager in driving and strengthening the company's ethics and compliance framework across the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner, providing practical, risk-based advice to business leaders and stakeholders while helping to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and due diligence on third parties, vendors, business partners and other external stakeholders across APAC.
- Review and analyse third-party information to identify potential ABAC, FCPA and other compliance risks.
- Assess the severity and potential impact of identified risks and provide clear, risk-based recommendations.
- Support ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships and transactions to identify potential policy or compliance concerns.
- Independently review sponsorship and donation requests, particularly those involving government officials, government-linked entities or other higher-risk relationships.
- Identify potential red flags and assess whether proposed activities are aligned with company policies and applicable laws.
- Develop and recommend appropriate mitigation measures for identified compliance risks.
- Advise business stakeholders on enhanced controls, remediation actions and risk-based solutions.
- Conduct jurisdiction-specific risk assessments across APAC, particularly in higher-risk markets.
- Support and/or conduct internal investigations relating to employee misconduct, potential policy violations and other ethics and compliance concerns.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial audit, risk management, third-party risk, internal controls or a related field.
- Strong understanding of anti-bribery and anti-corruption principles, regulations and enforcement environments.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make sound risk-based judgments.
- Good understanding of third-party due diligence and risk mitigation practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across different cultures and countries.
- Mature, confident and comfortable handling sensitive or challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail with sound professional judgment and high ethical standards.
- Proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented
