DEYE NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant HR Manager who speaks Mandarin to support APAC HR operations across Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Assistant HR Manager to support our fast‑growing APAC operations. You will collaborate closely with the Regional HR Manager, country managers and HQ to deliver end‑to‑end HR operations covering Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. This role will be home‑based until July 2027, subsequently required to work from EcoWorld Business Park 2.
Support day‑to‑day HR operations across multiple APAC offices (Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand).
Manage full employee‑lifecycle activities: recruitment, onboarding, probation assessment, staff transfers and off‑boarding.
Coordinate monthly payroll and HR administration with HQ and external vendors.
Drive recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, screening, interview arrangement & conduction, and offer letter coordination.
Assist to develop, review and roll‑out HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
Provide support for employee relations, performance management and disciplinary cases.
Maintain complete, accurate employee records and ensure proper upkeep of HR systems.
Compile HR reports and participate in regional HR projects.
Ensure all local HR processes comply with company policies and respective country employment legislations.
Partner with country heads and employees to resolve HR‑related queries and deliver practical HR support.
Travel to Singapore monthly to attend regional APAC meetings.
Identify gaps and propose improvements for HR workflows and operational efficiency.
Perform any other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the management.
Degree / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Human Resources; hands‑on regional / APAC exposure is highly preferred.
Solid practical experience covering recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations and general HR operations.
Excellent organisational skills and cross‑stakeholder communication competency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skill is essential.
Capable to work independently and juggle multiple competing priorities under tight timelines.
High sense of confidentiality, strong accuracy and meticulous attention to details.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Must be willing and able to travel to Singapore every month for regional meetings.
