Banyano Asia Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced finance leader to oversee accounting and financial reporting for the Asia Pacific region. The role includes ensuring tax compliance, statutory reporting and timely filing across jurisdictions, while coordinating with external auditors and tax agents.

1. Hold a Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
3. Demonstrate solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
4. Have experience in cross-border business processing and coordinating regional finance matters.
5. Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
7. Manage the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
8. Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and reporting timelines.
9. Communicate effectively in Mandarin, Malay, &English both verbally and in writing, when interacting with different background stakeholders.
10. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
11. Provide financial support, advice, and guidance to internal departments.
12. Assist in designing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
13. Manage communication and coordination with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions.
14. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant compliance requirements.
15. Familiar with tax regulations and tax administration policies in Southeast Asia and hands‑on experience related to the job responsibilities.
16. Professionals from international institutions with experience servicing Southeast Asia markets.
Job Responsibilities
Handle accounting and financial reporting for Asia Pacific.
Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and filing deadlines, and complete all related tax declarations and tax management work on time.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission of statutory reports.
Conduct financial reviews of contracts signed by abroadentities, perform comprehensive assessments of tax‑related matters, and provide practical, executable management recommendations.
Coordinate abroadcompanies’ engagements with auditors, investment filing authorities, financial institutions, and tax authorities, and oversee overall abroadfinance coordination.
Assist Head Office Finance in international tax planning and intercompany cost allocation / settlement for abroadentities.
Compile, organize, and maintain a reference database of abroadtax policies and implementation practices, with continuous updates and ongoing learning.
Complete other tasks assigned by Head Office Finance.
