Job summary

瀾華 Vanda Exquisite Chinese Cuisine in Kuala Lumpur is seeking energetic Waiters and Waitresses to join the front-of-house team. You will greet guests, guide them to tables, take orders, upsell, and ensure timely delivery of dishes in a refined dining setting at Solaris Dutamas.

The role requires excellent customer service, good Bahasa Malaysia and English, and ideally Mandarin. Fresh graduates with a strong service mindset are encouraged, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred in F&B, cafe, or retail; fresh SPM leavers with training encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin a plus.
• Mandatory: Typhoid vaccination certificate and Food Handler Course or willing to obtain before employment.
• Strong customer service, friendly demeanor, neat grooming, passion for hospitality.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a high-volume restaurant.
• Rotating 6-day work week including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, present menus, and explain daily specials.
• Take orders, upsell, and suggest pairings or popular dishes.
• Enter orders into POS and relay dietary requests to kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation.
• Buss tables, replenish supplies, and keep dining area clean.
• Process bills and handle cash, card, or e-wallet payments.
• Maintain station cleanliness and organize service areas.
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate to management when needed.
