Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• At least 2 years of tutoring, education, or classroom teaching.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, English, or Science, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging tuition lessons tailored to student needs.
• Assess progress through regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
• Maintain lesson plans and student progress records.

About the role

As a Tuition Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages academic growth and confidence. Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging tuition lessons tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
• Assess student understanding and progress through regular evaluations and feedback sessions

• Create and maintain comprehensive lesson plans and student progress records
• Identify students' learning difficulties and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, a relevant subject discipline, or equivalent teaching qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in tutoring, education, or classroom teaching
• Strong subject matter expertise in one or more academic disciplines (e.g., Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, Manderin, English and Science)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proven ability to engage and motivate students of different age groups and ability levels
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple students and lesson schedules
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for enhanced learning
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Flexibility and adaptability in approach to cater to diverse student requirements
