Clever Sri Petaling is seeking an experienced Senior Teacher to join our tertiary education institution in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead educational excellence and mentor junior teaching staff. As a Senior Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping student learning outcomes, developing curriculum initiatives, and fostering an engaging academic environment. Key responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars to tertiary-level students across assigned subject areas

Develop and update course curricula to ensure relevance with industry standards and educational best practices

Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations

Mentor and support junior teaching staff in developing their pedagogical skills and professional growth

Conduct research and scholarly activities relevant to your field of expertise

Contribute to the development of teaching resources, learning materials, and educational technology initiatives

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to institutional strategic planning

Engage in student supervision, including thesis guidance and academic advising

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in academic standards and quality assurance

Stay current with developments in your discipline and integrate new knowledge into teaching practice

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3-5 years' teaching experience at tertiary level or equivalent academic environment

Demonstrated expertise and strong knowledge in your subject discipline

Proven ability to deliver engaging and interactive lectures to diverse student cohorts

Experience in curriculum design and educational programme development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students

Capability to mentor and support junior academic staff

Experience with student assessment methodologies and academic standards assurance

Commitment to continuous professional development and scholarly activity

Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst maintaining academic rigour and integrity
