Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan EPS Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee heavy vehicle maintenance operations for trucks, prime movers, and trailers in Malaysia. You will lead workshop teams, plan preventive maintenance, and manage costs and vendors to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include ensuring roadworthy compliance, monitoring performance, and delivering reports with cost-saving improvements. Strong leadership and technical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance or truck workshop operations.
Experience in team management, fleet maintenance, and cost control.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with prime movers and trailers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repairs of trucks, prime movers, and trailers.
Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and vehicle downtime.
Manage workshop operations, mechanics, technicians, and external repair vendors.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, and braking system issues.
Control maintenance costs, spare parts inventory, and repair budgets.
Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Monitor fleet availability, maintenance performance, and repair turnaround time.
Prepare maintenance reports and implement cost-saving improvements.
