Job summary

SALIRAN INDUSTRIAL SUPPLIES Sdn Bhd is seeking a Truck Planner/Trucking Executive to plan and schedule daily lorry deliveries and collections, coordinating with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, customers, drivers, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries.

The role involves monitoring delivery status, truck movements, and maintaining proper records, as well as managing vehicle administration including road tax, insurance, licences, and inspections, and supporting ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years' experience in logistics, transportation, truck planning, or related field.
• Good planning, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Computer literate, especially Microsoft Excel and related systems.
• Able to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily lorry deliveries and allocations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, customers, drivers, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure loading, transportation, and submission of required documents.
• Monitor delivery status, delays, and truck movements.
• Arrange external transporters when required.
• Monitor road tax, insurance, licences, inspections and renewals.
• Liaise with insurance agents on renewals and claims.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and roadworthiness.
• Monitor driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company procedures.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.

Job description

The Truck Planner / Trucking Executive plans and schedules daily lorry deliveries and collections, coordinating with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, customers, drivers, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries. The role involves monitoring delivery status, truck movements, and maintaining proper records, as well as managing vehicle administration including road tax, insurance, licences, and inspections.

Key responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily lorry deliveries and collections, including driver, route, and truck allocation

Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, customers, drivers, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries

Ensure correct loading, transportation, delivery, and submission of required documents

Monitor delivery status, delays, truck movements, and maintain proper records

Arrange external transporters when required

Monitor and arrange lorry road tax, insurance, licences, inspections/PUSPAKOM, and related renewals

Liaise with insurance agents on renewals and claims

Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and roadworthiness requirements

Monitor driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company procedures

Support ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements

About you

Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field preferred
