Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations in our logistics team in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field and at least 1 year of experience in logistics or supply chain, with understanding of customs brokerage and customer service.

Automotive parts experience is a plus. You will coordinate shipments, liaise with external partners, and help ensure accurate documentation, especially during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder with logistics/supply chain studies.
• At least 1 year in logistics or supply chain with knowledge of customs brokerage.
• Automotive parts experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work under high pressure during peak periods.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; third language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to logistics team in operations, customs brokerage, dealer inquiries and liaison with logistics partners for shipments.
• Communicate and coordinate with partners for inbound/outbound shipments via air, sea and land; manage inventory if applicable.
• Review customs declarations for duty, SST, HS code and accuracy; highlight discrepancies.
• Attend to nationwide dealer inquiries and provide shipment support where necessary.
• Other responsibilities as required.

• To provide daily support to logistics team in areas of operations, customs brokerage, dealers' enquiries (i.e. customer service) and liaising with logistics partners (i.e. for air sea & land shipments) to ensure shipment fulfilment.


• To communicate and work closely with all of logistics partners for all inbound & outbound shipment arrangement via air, sea, or land & inventory management (if applicable). These may include daily shipment coordination, order drop, confirmation on logistics mode (i.e. air, courier or land) for certain shipment & etc.


• To review and audit customs declaration paperwork prepared by logistics partners, particularly in areas of customs duty, SST, HS Code classification and overall accuracy of declarations, and to highlight any discrepancies.


• To attend to enquiries from dealers nationwide (East & West M'sia) and assist to provide shipment support, where necessary.


• Other responsibilities, as and when required.
